September 30th. Anything on the agenda for shattered bridge?

So if folks are hopping to do anything in the "big city" please let me know here. Otherwise we will pick up anywhere I feel relevant during the travel to the Temple of the Sword.

Saito want's to buy some more throwing daggers. He also wants to see if Shaladrin is in town. Other than that, he just wants to relax a bit and lay low while in Shattered Bridge. I might come up with some more stuff I want to buy. Oh yeah, winter clothes.

So are you planning on traveling west with urgency or laying low for a bit?

That's a good group question. Do we want to head to the Temple now or hold up somewhere for the winter?

Jof has lots to do in Shattered Bridge. Can't answer how long she'd want to stay there, because that depends on what she finds out. She may want to hold out there awhile, or she may decide its necessary to get out of town ASAP. I've got a post for her thread that should flesh out these questions. Possibly a lot of this stuff can be worked out on the forums if everyone else feels the need to keep heading west. That way the group story doesn't get bogged down trying to work out individual details.

Shiuske wants to find Mama Mably even moreso now, especially to inform her that the skin walker (her nemesis whose name I forgot) has somehow obtained a heart stone. He'll meditate on the quarterstaff that Mama Mably gave him in hopes of tracking her magical signature in hopes of gaining insight to her location.

In addition, Shiuske also continues to study his spells, other magic, creatures, historic events, etc. His free time is spent reading and learning to boost his knowledge. He also spends a little time to gather random components for spells, and converts as much of his currency to silver since that's what the spirits like.

So Mama Mably is likely somewhere north around Escandoor. If we are going south then west to the temple of the sword perhaps Shiuske can find someone to Cast Sending for him or alternatively teach him the spell. Copying a 3 rd lvl spell into his book is probably within his means if he can find someone who knows the spell. Hmmm who do we know who can send messages to the mind of folks? Well maybe his wizard friend might be of assistance.

Thranduil, an Elf Wizard from the Mantis Clan, would be a great person to visit. He'll most likely be at the Weeping Tree Tavern. Hopefully he'll know Sending.

Saito wants to spend his time in Shattered Bridge trying to create a false identity for himself. This way he can (hopefully) throw off pursuers and have a way for moving about in Elf society if he needs to. This is if we decide to overwinter in Shattered Bridge.
